If you have DirecTV, we recommend a DirecTV/TiVo combination TiVo for standard definition or an HR54 (non-TiVo, genie DIRECTV DVR) for high definition.

If you have cable, the DirecTV/TiVo units will not work. Choose a standalone TiVo instead.
