With so many more options for getting video into your TiVo, you need a better way to search. For that reason, TiVo has now created the TiVo Slide Remote! It's a peanut remote like the one you love, but slide it open, and reveal a QWERTY keyboard. And that's not all - it's also a backlit, learning remote, and since it's BlueTooth, it'll work without line-of-sight for situations where your TiVo is in a cabinet.
The new TiVo Slide Remote is compatible with these TiVo DVRs:
- TiVo Series3 model TCD648250B
- TiVo HD model TCD652160
- TiVo HD XL model TCD658000
- TiVo Premiere model TCD746320
- TiVo Premiere XL model TCD748000
The design of the top level of the TiVo Slide Remote is similar to the TiVo Premiere Glo remote (see rightmost remote here) but with a few rearrangments, notably a round button that combines Play, REW, FF, and Slow with Pause in the middle.
